  • This Southern-Mediterranean meets Eastern European-inspired share plate gem led by Head Chef John Simpson-Clements was awarded two Chefs Hats from the Australian Good Food Guide upon it’s opening in 2024.

    Offering charcoal-cooked and wood-grilled organic local produce, natural wines and craft cocktails, and vinyl DJ sets on the weekend, Icarus needed a vibrant, yet grown-up branding suite to push through the various bars and restaurants that surrounded it’s location on Peel St.

    It’s identity began by creating a series of illustrations that would later adorn everything from the restaurant’s windows to it’s menus and glassware.
